    SEN or was it yesterday?

Andrew Maher and Andrew Gaze were the hosts anyway.

He'd probably be a good replacement for them.

    Another supporting snippet for Griffiths:

    http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/tarrant-a-vital-key-in-roo-attack-20120204-1qz1x.html

Tarrant, 22, endured persistent shoulder problems and a thumb injury in his initial seasons with the Kangaroos and struggled to have an impact as a forward with Werribee in the VFL.
A shift to defence was encouraging and he played the opening four AFL matches last season as a key defender. He was then dropped and did not return until round 18, managing just three more games.
Tarrant has impressed at training and appears ready to consistently deliver on the talent that made him a first-round selection (No. 15 overall) in the 2007 national draft.
''He has come off a couple of injuries, shoulders mainly. That's why the club just wanted to play him behind the footy, just let him get some game time up without blokes smashing you from behind,'' Petrie said. ''Now that he has good confidence in his shoulders again and his ability, they have thrown him forward to where they really want him to play and he has been good to deal with in the first couple of hit-outs we have had here at Arden Street.''

It's interesting to note we were keen on Tarrant at the time, but he didn't get through to our next pick. It seems like a pretty common philosophy to do this sort of stuff, and I imagine we'll see Griffiths back in attack soon enough.

The season hasn't started and Ninth Melbourne are pumping up the tyres of an under performing player. Can't really see the relevance to Griff at this stage.

Was referring to the bit where they put Tarrant down back for 12 mths so he'd gain confidence in his shoulders without people pounding them all the time. Given we're talking Griff to CHB, it might be a similiar strategy.

Thanks General. Doesn't seem like that plan for Ninth Melbourne worked too well.

Batchelor has confirmed what some have said in this thread, he will be playing HB and Wing this year and has been running with the midfielders to build up his tank for this move.

Anyone know how big a "tank" Post has. I would love him to be played on a wing a la Richo. I like the big fellas that can run all day having the freedom to roam up and down the ground. They can outmark smaller opponents and outrun taller ones.

Not too many of them around though. I have always liked the way Embley plays this role. May also give Jayden a bit of freedom to just go out and get the footy, like his highlight reel when pre drafting!
